HAAFTEN, 2025 – Logistics service provider Nedcargo is celebrating a special milestone this year: 25 years of dedication, innovation, and collaboration in the logistics sector. What began in 2000 as an ambitious initiative by founders Diederik Jan Antvelink and Roderick de La Houssaye has grown into a leading logistics partner with 7 locations, nearly 285,000 m² of storage space, a fleet of over 115 trucks, and approximately 1,000 employees.
Reflecting on an impressive journey
Over these 25 years, Nedcargo has navigated a path filled with both highlights and challenges. Through strategic partnerships and acquisitions—such as Van Uden, Schouten Transport, Eurobrokers, and Portena—the company has grown steadily, offering services focused on retail distribution, forwarding, and value-added services for shelf-stable food and (alcoholic) beverages.
Grand anniversary celebration in Haaften
The highlight of the anniversary year took place on June 14, 2025, at the site on Hertog Karelweg in Haaften. Employees, their partners, and children enjoyed a festive day filled with music, entertainment, and connection, including a live performance by Frans Bauer. The celebration was dedicated to looking back on 25 years of Nedcargo together and looking forward to a future full of opportunities and innovation.
During the anniversary, employees who have been loyal members of the organization for 25 years were also honored—a special milestone and a testament to the strong commitment within the Nedcargo family.
